Having an email autoresponder is an essential part of automating your business. Because autoresponders send out emails to your list automatically at the intervals you choose, they help you to create an automatic, repeatable email system that communicates and markets to your email list. Here are three things to get you off on the right foot.
If you have an email list, keep reading. If you don’t, or you want to expand yours, read my article about how to get started.

1. The first step in automating your business with an email auto-responder is to choose an email autoresponder service that provides all the tools and support you will need. Make sure the service allows you to create opt-in boxes on your page and in DHTML pop-up windows. Also, be sure that the service let’s you create emails that can be set to go out in intervals, or on certain dates. These two things are essential to automating your business.
2. Second, decide what the purpose of communicating to your email list is. Are you trying to sell something? Do you want people to visit your location? Do you want customer feedback, or is it something else. Develop a specific and targeted purpose when communicating with your email list.
3. Third. decide how you will entice, reward, or motivate people to sign up for your list, and/or read your emails. A great way to do this is to provide your readers with valuable and useful information. If you do that, you are likely to keep your subscribers interested and opening your emails. If you run a retail store, consider including coupons or specials in your emails. If you offer a service, send a discount the first time someone tries your service. If you are selling a digital product, like an eBook, let someone read the first chapter and give them some valuable information that will help them, then offer them a discount on your product.
Follow these three steps and you will be on your way to integrating a powerful automated marketing solution that will help you communicate with prospects and customers on an ongoing basis.
Getting people to join your list is often the greatest challenge. Find out the #1 secret in getting readers to join your email list. Just visit my email autoresponder secret page.

Building an email list of targeted prospects is a key element of successfully running an online business. Here are three things (and a secret bonus) you can do to get people to join your email list.

Using Unblockable Pop Up Windows (DHTML)People aren’t in love with pop-up windows, that’s true. But, they are proven as one of the most effective ways to build your list the right way, and fast too. In my opinion, it’s important to present your pop up subscription box in the right way; a way that’s not overly-annoying and that offers your visitor something of value. Read on to find out a super-effective way of motivating a website visitor to subscribe to your list.
Put Your Subscribe Box on Every Page on Your Site
The more opportunities your visitors have to sign up for your list or newsletter, the better. If your visitors see your appealing, valuable, subscription sign-up box on every page you have, more people will sign up. Don’t restrict your sign up box to your homepage. Many webmasters put their sign-up box on the top right corner of each page.
Make Your Form Simple, Easy, and Appealing
Make your sign-up box colorful and appealing. Don’t make it too busy with information, and make sure that your visitor knows exactly what they need to do. Your “pitch” for your visitor shouldn’t be all about you or the product you are selling. It should be mostly about them and what they need or want.

Once you have set up your business marketing website and have designed it as a primary point of contact with your prospects and customers, you need to know how to capture their names and email addresses. An autoresponder is the essential tool you will use in your direct response email marketing campaign.
Direct Response Email Marketing is simply a means of automating your communications and relationship-building through your customer and prospect list. It will allow you to automatically follow up with people so that you convert new prospects into customers, and insure that your customers remain eager to do business with you and your company over and over again.
Traditional Offline Business Owners Must Learn the Secret System Used by Savvy Internet Marketers
Successful Internet marketers who do business exclusively online have been using autoresponders for years. They could not experience the explosive growth they have without them. By totally automating the process of communicating with their list of prospects and customers, they save themselves an incredible amount of time.
As the owner of a traditional offline business or professional practice, you need to adopt this very same system.
What Are Autoresponders?
Autoresponders are software programs that can be customized to suit the needs of any business, online OR offline. Once set it up, it helps you stay in contact with your prospects and customers so they never forget you. This process of remaining in contact with your subscribers is the very foundation of what is called, “relationship marketing.” In short, people are more likely to do business with a person or company with whom they have a warm on-going connection or relationship.
Getting back to my explanation of autoresponders — in a nutshell, they keep you and your company at the forefront of your prospects and customers mind. And they do it automatically-that is, once you set it all up.
How Do Autoresponders Work?
What I like most about using an autoresponder for business marketing is that it works on the principle of set it-and-forget it. It doesn’t matter if you have a list of 10 or 10,000 prospects and customers. All you have to do is to write your messages and determine a preset schedule for the autoresponder to send them out to your list. And because you can preset the schedule of mailing intervals, you can preload all your email messages in advance. That means you can preload special offers, reminders, discount coupons, newsletters — you name it. I have some of my autoresponders preloaded with a year’s worth of messages and special seasonal offers that I composed one Saturday afternoon!
Autoresponders, when combined with direct response email marketing techniques, keep you in touch with your loyal customer base and bring them relevant information about you and your business. For example, let’s say you’re a retailer and you just received a new shipment of the latest widget or you are planning a big sale — you can instantly let your entire list know all the hot details. Not only can autoresponders help you maintain communication with your prospects, but they can help convert your occasional customers into frequent buyers.
Personalization
Are you starting to see how powerful a business marketing tool autoresponders can be? Good! Now hold on to your seat …because it gets even better! Instead having to send your messages and offers to an impersonal “Dear friend” or worse yet, to “Dear subscriber” or “Dear list”, you can set your autoresponder to address each contact by their own personal name.
Personalization makes all the difference in the world! In traditional offline marketing this would be the equivalent of receiving a personal hand written letter in the mail as opposed to one labeled “current occupant”. Isn’t it nicer to get an email addressed to you personally than one sent to a huge group with a canned greeting like “Dear subscriber”? You tell me.
Bottom line, an autoresponder can help you build massive lists of prospects and customers. It helps in building relationships and maintaining communication with your customer base and, more importantly, engenders trust in you and your company-which translates into greater profits!
Peter Loughlin is a business website marketing expert. If you’re in business you have probably already noticed that people are not spending money the same way they did in the past. Imagine being able to cut your advertising budget and increase your profits at the same time…

S.E.O stands for Search Engine Optimization. But what does that mean? Well to put it simply, it is the process of making your site more noticeable to search engines like Google or Yahoo, with the ultimate goal to be ranked #1 for desired keywords on a search engines listings. Today, Search engines are sophisticated programs that use complex mathematical algorithms to find and index pretty much everything on the internet. But to really understand S.E.O, you have to understand the relationship between the terms typed into a search engine, the content on your website and the words linked to your website from other websites.
As I see it SEO internet marketing can be Separated into two efforts, On-site optimization, and Off Site optimization…
On-site Optimization is first and foremost, It is “planting your roots” so to speak. During the On-site Optimization process the website creator or editor would tailor the content on the website so that certain keywords and phrases are more likely to be indexed and ranked by a search engine spider (the robotic programs that Google sends to your site to collect data). This is best done by altering Title tags, meta keywords, and meta descriptions on your website. However, in the actual body content of the website it is also important to implement your desired keywords and keyword phrases. The best practice of on-site optimization however is to just have something people will want to come to your site for. Other key components to focus on when doing on-site optimization is your websites navigation, and your URL name.
It is possible to rank for certain term by only doing on-site optimization, It is especially effective when targeting long tailed search terms. “Long tailed search terms” refers to keyword phrases usually 4 or more words. On-site optimization is effective when targeting long keywords phrases because there is usually less competition to be ranked for these term, at least compared to short tailed terms (terms 1-3 words). For example, It’s much more likely to be ranked on a term like “Hoover Bagless Upright Vacuum” then a term like “Vacuums”. You may be asking yourself, “OK then, how do i rank for short tailed keyword phrases” That’s where off-site optimization comes in to play.
Off-site optimization is the process of building in-bound links from relevant third-party websites. The links are packaged with anchor text (the visible text of a hyper link, not to be mistaken with the url), which tells a search engine spider what the website the link is pointing to is about in single word or phrase. It is a wide belief that link building is a numbers game, this is false. Not all links are created equal, websites with higher page rank and are more relevant tend to give more effective links then others. There are two kinds of links you can obtain when performing off-site optimization, one-way text links, and reciprocal links. One way text links are sites from other sites that point to you without you ever having to point back. Whereas reciprocal links are obtained based on the agreement that you link back.
Search engine optimization for many website is what determines the amount of traffic a website receives. If you are truly interested in seeing results for your website, the best advice I can give to you is Google everything you want to know. There are tons of free articles from experts out there who can tell you everything you need to know, which is a lot. The more you know, the better off you’ll be.

Search engine optimization (SEO) has become one of the most popular promotion criteria of a website. In the fight for a top position on the results page of a search engine, the appropriate optimization of a website along with a well-structured content can make a difference. The vast majority of those who want to start a business or who already have a business and want to make it prosperous, desire to have a top place in search engines, increasing their sales and number of customers. Let’s find out more about SEO optimization!
A search engine tries to determine what you are searching when you type a word or a certain phrase, by using specific algorithms. The purpose of a search engine is to deliver relevant search results for the largest possible number of people. Search engines do this by creating an algorithm. This process involves several factors, such as text content, titles, keywords, etc.
Web directories are maintained by human editors who check each website submitted. Human editors focus on finding the right category for your website, analyzing its relevance and features. Yahoo and MSN are an example of hybrid search engines.
Search engines will index your website depending on its title, title keywords and the first two paragraphs. Keywords play a major role in SEO optimization, because they determine the relevance of a website. Choosing the right keywords is an essential aspect of search engine.
The SEO process is based on 7 phases: keywords identification, website analysis, link building, overall analysis, and page optimization, website submission in search engines and web directories and reports. Off site optimization is the most important stage in improving Google positioning. Try to get as many links relevant to your blog. It is recommended that the link obtained to have as anchor a keyword that you’re interested in.

Article creating has become a focal part of online marketing. If you would like to make money online, you will find yourself creating articles on an almost daily schedule. For many new web marketers, one of the most challenging tasks will be coming up with sufficient ideas to write about. The next will be trying to produce enough content for the number of articles needed.
The first objective of writing articles is to pull targeted traffic to your site. To pull off this you will probably need to write hundreds of interesting, attractive articles centered on your topic. This means you need to have enough awareness about the business, merchandise or service you are selling; you need to be able to compose attractive content about your topic; and you need to have the persistence to compose all those articles and submit them to various online directories that publish articles.
If you are too busy to complete any one of these assignments, you possibly will want to outsource the article creating to a competent self-employed writer. Not all internet marketers will be able to churn out quality articles in the quantity wanted. The solution to this problem is using one of the many high-quality copywriters who can write articles for you for a surprisingly low charge.
Outsourcing your article writing can be a great idea, and if you look around you will hit upon expert copywriters to write articles on any area. So there is no need to lose sleep about composing articles. You will be able to get a foot in the door with your article marketing campaign anytime you like. I highly suggest starting your article marketing at once!
You may feel a little confused at first especially if you are new to writing articles to make extra money online, I know I was…but I found a site that really helps and took away all the confusion.

As an internet marketer, you must understand that there is no way that you can succeed online unless you use high quality articles on your website and on your marketing campaign. But what happens if you don’t have the time, patience, or writing skills to produce compelling articles? Well, the answer to your problem is easy; outsource your articles to talented ghostwriters. Right now, there are so many people from all corners of the globe who are making a living by offering ghostwriting services to website owners and internet marketers.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to outsource your articles:
1. First, make sure that you have the resources to pay your ghostwriters. It would help to know that these people, particularly the good ones, charge minimum of $5/500 word article.
2. Find ghostwriters. You actually have two options of finding ghostwriters. You can either do a Google search to see the individual websites being run by service providers or you can visit freelancing sites where you can easily get in touch with hundreds of writers.
3. Select the best ghostwriter. It’s very important that you go with the best ghostwriter as the article they’ll write will reflect your image in the online arena. What I suggest is to pick at least 5 candidates and give them trial assignments. Pick the one that can offer you with the highest quality articles at reasonable prices.
4. Review and ask for revisions. Make sure that you read the articles that were submitted by your ghostwriters to make sure that they are informative and well-written. Ask for revisions until you’re completely satisfied.

Outsource Article Writing – How to Get Started?

Have you been looking out for ways to outsource your article writing needs to online writers but haven’t hit the jackpot yet? What if you discovered the nice little tips that will help you outsource all your article writing work and help you focus more on developing your core business needs? The purpose of this article is to simplify the process of getting your articles outsourced in the most professional, easy to follow manner. Here are 3 simple steps to get you started.
Step 1 – Get the project proposal in place.
Step 2 – Offer a decent, motivating package.
Step 3 – Review and give appropriate feed back.
Here are step by step details that you can applyquickly and easily.
Step 1 – Get the project proposal in place -
Make a list of the topics of the articles that you want to get outsourced, indicate the possible deadline when you want the articles back and other things like word count, format, etc. This is to ensure that nothing is left to chance and you get a full package with which you are fully satisfied. Outsourcing articles means that one will have to pay the writer for his/her job.
Step 2 – Offer a decent, motivating package -
Understand that the writer is freeing your time that channelizes your energy to building your online business. therefore offering an appropriate compensation to the writer who writes for you, works like a great motivation for him/her to deliver good work. This should be in line with the industry rates, the cheaper writer is not always the best one. It’s equally important to give a constructive feedback on the first article building the foundation for further work together.
Step 3 – Review and give appropriate feed back -
The articles submitted to you should be reviewed in its entirety and any deviations should be brought to the attention of the writer. Be constructive in your feedback because unnecessarily criticizing the work can have negative outcomes.

Article marketing can be a great way to bring traffic to your website. By the moment you begin writing the articles, you immediately realize that the process can be rather time-consuming. I don’t care how fast you type. Even if you can type at over 100 words per minute, there is still a limit to how much you can do on a daily basis. That means the growth to your business is limited as well. That is why you should consider outsourcing.
How outsourcing works.

Think about the different tasks that you have to perform when you try to market using articles. First, you have to spend time thinking about what you want to write. After that, you have to sit down and type out all the articles. Each article to type will probably take up 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Just writing five articles a day could take up an hour or more. As a business owner, you can’t really afford to spend that many hours write the articles. They are other aspects of the business that you need to take care of. For example, you can spend your time creating new partnerships, which in turn brings in more revenue for your business.

So what’s you need to do, is to hire writers to write for you. You can engage as many writers as you want. This depends on your marketing budget. The more resources you have, the more people you can hire to write for you. Try to choose native English speakers as your writers. Then you have a group of writers writing for you, there is no limit to the number of articles you can complete in a single day. If you already own a profitable business, you can scale up very quickly.

The other part of article marketing you need to outsource is article distribution. If you do this manually, submitting articles is a matter of copying and pasting your content. There are several article submission software in the market that you can use. The only drawback of using software is that you still need to have your computer on while the articles submission is taking place.

If you do not want the hassle of having to morning for the submission process, you can hire someone else to do it for you. In this case, all you need to do is to place an order, submit the necessary information, and you can go on to do your other work. You may even place an order in the middle of the night, and wake up in the morning to find that the submission has been completed.

Article marketing is one of the easiest ways to drive traffic. Don’t ignore this effective method just because it is time consuming. Others have achieved great success with this method, and there is no reason why you shouldn’t be seeing good results.

During website building and online marketing seminars people keep asking me the same questions: “why do I need original content? why having About Us, Products and Contact pages are not enough? I am not doing anything fancy, I own a simple business, why do you want me to write a novel about it?”
Well, the best way to answer these questions is to raise some counter-questions.
Do you want your prospects to be able to find you online?
Do you want to make a compelling pitch on your website so people would pick up a phone or email you?
Do you have something to sell online?

If you answered ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions, you better start working on your novel (well, not exactly a novel) tonight. Even more, you need some of the chapters to be located outside of your online home (your website), just pointing to it. Times of cheap gimmicks and occasional technical tweaks to your website in order to gain a better ranking on Google are over.
Again, many people seem to be oblivious to the fact and keep looking for a magic bullet. Usual places where hopefuls are trying to get the answer are IT department of their company or just a house of a random computer programmer they happen to know.
Unfortunately, computer wizards will not help you here. You need to figure out how to tell a compelling story about your company and how to get that story in front of a crowd that cares to listen. This is not what normally IT or SEO (search engine optimization) people do.
By now you are familiar that more than anything else Google loves original content. Not the stuff you ‘borrowed’ from another website, not something you bought for $5 online that is so impersonal and mangled, it’s hard to tell whether it was written by a real English speaking person, or a machine.
Even though aesthetically appealing website is a must, a lot of technically outdated and visually unattractive websites often rank much higher on Google than shiny flashy pieces of art with no original content. If you are trying to make some quick sales or you’re an affiliate marketer, then buying some cheap random content might work. If you own a business, you need to build your content consistently and provide your potential prospects as well as the whole world with something more interesting and more high-class to read and watch.
Here you have some choices:
Write the content and produce videos yourself.
Have somebody in your company do it for you.
Hire some outside help (PR agency, online marketing firm, etc.).

If writing articles and creating videos is your passion and you possess ability to look at your business impartially, from outside, go for it. You will save some money and the process will be a share pleasure.
If you are not the writer type or you do not have time for that, look for outside help. Try to hire somebody who is more than just a good copywriter. The ideal candidate might be a boutique PR and online marketing firm that can give you a lot of personal attention. If your company is a little bigger than mom-and-pop shop, you need somebody who is able to think strategically, who can interview key people in your company and literally get the juicy information out.
Whoever will be doing it, they need to integrate the content in your current website or blog. They also have to make a decisions on what to use outside the website, what press members and bloggers to contact, where to post the original content and where to link it back.
Every company has a story, but only a few are able to tell that story in a compelling way and get it out to the world quickly and efficiently. If your business is located in Chicagoland, Intelligent Clout Inc might be a great partner. This boutique PR and online marketing agency is willing to work with small and medium businesses and is known for personal attention to every client. They’ll craft your story, polish up your branding and present your company to the whole online world to see.
